Replication data for: Multi-step parametric inversion of scanning magnetic microscopy data for modeling magnetization of multidomain magnetitehttps://doi.org/10.18710/FZOWBNPastore, ZeudiaDataverseNO2019-11-272023-09-28T19:06:19ZThe dataset includes magnetic inversion results and high-resolution magnetic scan data of a 30µm thick section of a sample from Modum, Norway. The sample contains large magnetite grains (>100 µm) surrounded by serpentine and carbonate and exhibits a clear multi-domain behavior. Inversion of the data provided an estimation of the fine-scale magnetization of the sample. The dataset contains also inversion results on synthetic magnetic data.Earth and Environmental Sciencesscanning magnetic microscopymagnetic inversionRemanent magnetizationMultidomain magnetitemagnetic carriersEnglishPastore, Z., Church, N.
