These sources are supplemented and validated by the following sources: 1) European Website on Integration and the EU Immigration Portal, 2) governmental webpages, 3) official historical online archives of ministries and ministers in government cabinets, 4) national databases on state administration, 5) policy documents, and 6) academic books and articles with detailed case studies of the selected countries.
