The data provided in this repository was employed to assess mammals' community-level activity patterns among biogeographic regions, and explore the roles of top-down versus bottom-up processes, and thermoregulatory constraints. TEAM data is a systematic camera-trap network deployed in 16 protected forests across the tropics. The analyses were carried out to assess the relationships of mammals’ diel activity to body mass and trophic guild. Also, to assess the activity relationships within and among guilds.2008-05-132017-11-18PanamaIndonesiaUgandaBrazilBrazilSurinamePeruPeruCameroonLao People's Democratic RepublicCongo, the Democratic Republic of theMalaysiaTanzania, United Republic ofRwandaCosta RicaEcuadorBarro Colorado Nature Monument - Soberania National ParkBukit BarisanBwindi Impenetrable ForestCaxiuanã National ForestManausCentral Suriname Nature ReserveCocha Cashu - Manu National ParkYanachaga Chimillen National ParkKorup National ParkNam KadingNouabalé NdokiPasoh Forest ReserveUdzungwaVirunga MassifVolcán Barva (Brulio Carrillo National Park)Yasuni National Parkprotected areas-79.850902059.09248211Camera-trap datawww.wildlifeinsights.org
