Abstract:

This dataset contains the study-level data used in the meta-analyses reported in the review titled Does the Flipped Classroom Improve Student Learning and Satisfaction? A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis'. The analyses summarize evidence from studies comparing a flipped classroom intervention with traditional teaching. There are three tabular files, containing study level data for studies included in analyses for each of the three outcome measures of interest: learning (as measured by continuous measures such as grades, exam scores, concept inventories etc.), pass rates, and student satisfaction. A study may appear as a case in more than one data file. A fourth file contains complete bibliographic references to the sources from which the study data were extracted.
