Altogether, 28 893 tokens of words which may contain prothetic v- taken from sociolinguistic interviews with 159 speakers from five Czech cities (Prague, Brno, České Budějovice, Plzeň and Hradec Králové). The speakers are either from younger (20 to 30 years) or older (60 to 70 years) generation. The tokens are anotated based on their lemma and word family, word class, presence of a prefix, their length, possible position of prothetic v-, their preceding segment, borrowedness, frequency (several different measures) and their status as proper or common names. Each token also has an information about the social variables of the speaker (age, city of origin, gender).
