The dataset consists of 6/9 interviews from a MA-project at University of Agder, named “På Utsiden av Mediedemokratiet” (PUAM), translated to “Outside the media democracy”. The project was written by Ferdinand Arntzen Elmenhorst in 2025, with the guidance of professor Abit Hoxha. Refer to the project with Elmenhorst, F., A. (2025). På Utsiden av Mediedemokratiet. [and further formatting].

1/9 of the interviewees did not consent to their dataset being published.

2/9 of the interviewees were chosen for their dataset not to be published based on difficulties with anonymity within their answers.

The dataset was collected via qualitative interviews with citizens mostly in southern Norway, asking them about their relationship with news, digitalisation and democracy. The interviewees consist of people in ages between 20-60, 1 female and 5 males, an equal political spread between left- and right wing, with differences in work and relationships.
