The aims of the study were to evaluate prediction precision and bias for beef carcass conformation and fat cover when graded with a novel semi-automatic method, based on measurements of carcass length. Data for this study included conformation and fat cover, as well as other variables used to calculate prediction precision and biasedness estimates.
