The climatology of polar lows is provided by two lists. One for the Northern Hemisphere (NH) and one for the Southern Hemisphere (SH). Further, ERA-5 representations of five observational-based polar-low lists created by Noer, Rojo, Smirnova, Golubkin and Yanase, and the mesocyclone list of Verezemskaya are provided.
