Borebreen is a tidewater-terminating surge-type glacier located on the north-side of Isfjorden. The dataset was generated using a structure-from-motion (SfM) method using drone-based imagery. The data was processed with Agisoft Metashape and the processed data consists of digital elevation models (DEMs) in georeferenced .TIF file format, orthomosaic maps in georeferenced .TIF, .JPG, and .PNG file format, and textured 3D models in .STL and .JPG file format. A 3D model of the glacier is also provided in .OBJ file format. In addition, a process report in archived .PDF file format is included for each dataset. Mapping was conducted with a large fixed-wing drone, the Mugin-2 Pro as well as with a smaller quadcopter, the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Enterprise. The Mugin was used to map a very large area of the glacier (approx 40km²) whereas the Mavic was only used to map the front of the glacier. Data collection was conducted during Autumn 2025 (08.09.2025).
<sumDscr><timePrd cycle="P1" event="start" date="2025-08-09">2025-08-09</timePrd><timePrd cycle="P1" event="end" date="2025-08-09">2025-08-09</timePrd><collDate cycle="P1" event="start" date="2025-08-09">2025-08-09</collDate><collDate cycle="P1" event="end" date="2025-08-09">2025-08-09</collDate><nation>Svalbard and Jan Mayen</nation><geogCover>Borebreen</geogCover><geoBndBox><westBL>13.87</westBL><eastBL>13.88</eastBL><southBL>78.44</southBL><northBL>78.45</northBL></geoBndBox></sumDscr></stdyInfo><method><dataColl><sources/></dataColl><anlyInfo/></method><dataAccs><setAvail/><useStmt/><notes type="DVN:TOU" level="dv"><a href="http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0">CC0 1.0</a></notes></dataAccs><othrStdyMat/></stdyDscr><otherMat ID="f260502" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/260502" level="datafile"><labl>00_Readme.txt</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">text/plain</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f260501" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/260501" level="datafile"><labl>01_2025_Borebreen front_Images.zip</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">application/zip</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f260500" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/260500" level="datafile"><labl>01_2025_Borebreen_Images.zip</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">application/zip</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256226" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256226" level="datafile"><labl>02_2025_Borebreen_DEM.tif</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">image/tiff</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256234" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256234" level="datafile"><labl>02_2025_Borebreen front_DEM.tif</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">image/tiff</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256227" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256227" level="datafile"><labl>03_2025_Borebreen front_Ortho.tif</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">image/tiff</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256229" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256229" level="datafile"><labl>03_2025_Borebreen_Ortho.tif</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">image/tiff</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256233" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256233" level="datafile"><labl>03_2025_Borebreen small_Ortho.tif</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">image/tiff</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256230" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256230" level="datafile"><labl>04_2025_Borebreen front_Model.stl</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">application/vnd.ms-pki.stl</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256228" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256228" level="datafile"><labl>04_2025_Borebreen_Model.stl</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">application/vnd.ms-pki.stl</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f260575" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/260575" level="datafile"><labl>05_2025_Borebreen front_Report.pdf</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">application/pdf</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f260576" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/260576" level="datafile"><labl>05_2025_Borebreen_Report.pdf</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">application/pdf</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256235" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256235" level="datafile"><labl>06_2025_Borebreen front_Texture.jpg</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">image/jpeg</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f256231" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/256231" level="datafile"><labl>06_2025_Borebreen_Texture.jpg</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">image/jpeg</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f260499" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/260499" level="datafile"><labl>07_2025_Borebreen front_Model.obj</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">application/x-tgif</notes></otherMat><otherMat ID="f260498" URI="https://dataverse.no/api/access/datafile/260498" level="datafile"><labl>07_2025_Borebreen_Model.obj</labl><notes level="file" type="DATAVERSE:CONTENTTYPE" subject="Content/MIME Type">application/x-tgif</notes></otherMat></codeBook>
