The database contains a large number of compounds based on the word fiske ‘fishing’. Here is some information about the study from the article: "Denne artikkelen presenterer en analyse av norske sammensetninger i lys av Fauconnier og Turners (2002) teori om konseptuell integrasjon. Det argumenteres for at leddene i sammensetninger er “rombyggere” (“space builders”) som aktiverer ulike “innputtrom”, og at sammensetninger er “blandede rom” (“blends”) som integrerer informasjon fra innputtrommene. I forlengelsen av denne analysen lanseres Kompresjonshypotesen som legger føringer for hva som er mulige og umulige sammensetninger i norsk. Analysen av sammensetninger som blandede rom åpner også for å diskutere den kognitive kompetanse og de strategier språkbrukerne kan nyttiggjøre seg for å tolke sammensetninger. Spesielt fokuseres det på betydningen av metafor, metonymi, “paradigmatisk knoppskyting” og syntagmatisk kontekstoppbygging."</description></descriptions><geoLocations/></resource>
