| The Seatech project is devoted to the demonstration of the dynamic using large scale models tested wing at sea and the engine technology testing in relevant environment. The project tasks include the design of full-size wing, the system Life-cycle cost analysis (LCCA) and using the advanced data analytics for the evaluation of retrofitability and maintainability of both innovations at full scale. The present dataset is derived from results from concerning the demonstration of the dynamic wing technology in wave conditions at real sea conditions using large-scale self-propelled ship models of 10-12m length. The tested model is equipped with an autonomous propulsion system and was deployed in coastal area near Athens, Greece. The model is manned. Standard hydrodynamic tests have been performed, including measurements of resistance and propulsion, in waves seakeeping and maneuvering tests. For the seakeeping and propulsion in waves the sea conditions are monitored using portable directional wave buoy. The model track has been monitored via a real-time kinematics system, while the dynamic responses of the model were measured via an 6dof system, consisting of multiple accelerometers. The overall performance in waves with the dynamic wing is recorded and the energy gains are evaluated. Also, the dynamic stabilization of the ship and the reduction of added wave resistance is estimated based on measured data. The results are used to update the technical data and enhance the models developed to feed the advanced data analytics framework (ADAF) for full scale powering, consumption and emissions predictions and LCCA .
