Description	The contents of this dataset is the basis of the analysis conducted in the related publication. The scope of the study was to investigate the relationship between renewable energy consumption and the state of sustainable development across countries. The investigation was facilitated by clustering countries according to their sustainable development metrics, and correlations between the sustainable development indicator gaps for each country and their renewable energy shares.
