Abstract: Geothermal energy pile foundations are among the most common types of energy geostructures that provide structural support and can be used as a source with ground source heat pumps for heating and cooling buildings. Energy piles can be categorized into cast-in-place and precast piles. Driven precast concrete energy piles can be installed up to the bedrock level, with higher quality, lower cost, and faster installation process compared to cast-in-place energy piles. Precast concrete driven energy pile foundations are manufactured segmentally, and the segments are connected using a suitable type of joint that provides structural integrity and allows continuity of heat exchanging pipes. An innovative and novel steel driven energy pile (DEP) joint was used to manufacture seven precast concrete driven energy piles. To assure the proper performance of the energy piles and the DEP joint, flexural, impact, and hydraulic pressure tests were performed according to the BS EN 12794 standard and the ASTM F2164-21, respectively. The impact test data includes the PDA files, which can be opened using CAPWAP® 2014 software. The data from pressure tests are summarized in a single Excel document. The data of flexural tests includes the force-displacement test data in a single Excel document and also the related digital image correlation (DIC) data, which can be opened by VIC3D 9.4.22 software. The DIC data of each experiment is compiled within a single zip file. The data of this study can be used as a reference for future research and development on driven energy pile joints.
